The main complaint is fresh. In August 2026, TidyCal added a 1% fee on every paid booking, even for lifetime customers. Reviewer julien146 wrote: “This change really goes against their values and the spirit of ‘lifetime deals’… You are undermining the trust customers place in you” (AppSumo).

For a solo coach, consultant, or freelancer, TidyCal at $29 is still a fair deal even with the new 1% fee. The math works out inside 3 months, and the base plan does everything a solo operator needs.

For teams, look at Cal.com. TidyCal’s Agency plan is not the team tool the name suggests.

Either way, you have 60 days to test it and get your money back if it does not fit.
